Current Research Projects
Research in the Department is divided into three themes, namely family nursing, teaching of nursing and nursing leadership and management. Most research is carried out on the family’s health, well-being, functioning, daily routine and clientship in health care. Research provides knowledge for the further development of the content of nursing. The research projects on teaching and management yield methodological knowledge which serves to make possible good nursing for individuals and families in the various sectors of health care.
Within the field of family nursing, the research projects focus for example on the effectiveness of nursing interventions, identifying and caring family violence, promoting the health of the family through support of parenthood and grief and coping in the family.
