Current Research Projects We are a research active organisation, and have a strong partnership with Cambridge University as well as other research institutes in Cambridge. We also sponsor and administer research programmes within the Trust. Particular areas of strength are psychosis research programme (PI Prof Peter Jones), learning disability research programme (Prof Tony Holland), adolescent mood disorders (Prof Ian Goodyer) and autism (Prof Simon Baron Cohen) We are host to the eastern hub of the Mental Health research network (MHRN) which facilitates recruitment to studies – linking up research projects around the country with interested clinicians and service users within the Trust. We are the host for a major programme of applied health and health services research – the NIHR (National Institute of Health Research) CLAHRC – collaboration for leadership in applied health research and care. This collaboration is both undertaking research on mental health services in the Trust and implementing results into practice.
