• Creation of common research projects

• To develop common projects in the area of education and training
• To explore how ”best” to deliver education, with a particular focus on the new technologies available
• Role for network to act as a ”pressure group” or lobby
• Possibility for network members to serve as ”peer reviewers” for research bids/papers before submission
• Need to consider role or interface with carer/user organisations and seek their perspective
• Network should include within its scope both long term/enduring mental illness and early intervention services
