Main Roles in the EMILIA Project

Work package 5: Insight into Demand for Learning. Assesses the degree of comprehensive service coverage at the demonstration sites, and also assesses the learning needs both at an individual and service level. They have responsibility for developing the PDP.

Bodø is also one fo the 8 demonstration sites and also developed 3 of the EMILIA training programs.

Short description of SPDS

The Psychiatric services in the County of Storstroem consists of five groups. Three general adult psychiatry centres in the county serve the North, Central and South with populations of 100,000, 100,000, and 60,000 respectively. Two centres serve the whole county: Centre for Child and Youth Psychiatry and Centre of Psychiatric Expertise. In each of these groups there is a close integration of the social psychiatry and the therapeutic (medical) psychiatry for the patients with a need for both forms of help. The Psychiatric Services in Storstroems County treats about 4,200 patients a year.
