Dissemination Activities | Catalonia Telethon

On Sunday the 14th December the Marathon (nothing to do with running!) was held here in Catalonia and this years theme was mental illness. Many people dedicated to the cause organize their own mini events to get money together. That's what some of our users did on Sunday. The photos below are from astand that they put up next to the beach at a diving tournament to raise money for mental illness in the name if EMILIA and then sent it in to the Marathon.

The week before on a programme that was televised on Catalan television about mental health the producers came to the hospital to interview the EMILIA users during one of their weekly meetings. The program is in Catalan but talks about the importance of social inclusion for mentally ill and the importance of finding and maintaining a job.
